MP8005 is a pure expanded graphite fiber yarn with corrosion inhibitors. The benefits are a high temperature and speed capacity. It is highly suitable for steam valves, boiler feed pumps, condensate pumps, chemical and petrochemical applications, expansion joints and high temperature groove packing. Constructed of pure expanded graphite braided into a square packing.
Graphite Packings are inert to most chemicals and have low frictional coefficients as well as being capable of being used in both cryogenic and high temperature applications.
MP8005 is a general service packing for use throughout industry and ideal for pumps with bronze or soft sleeves and or worn equipment. Services include steam valves, boiler feed pumps, condensate pumps, chemical and petrochemical applications, expansion joints and high temperature groove packing.
Size:3.0mm up to 50mm square (some sizes available for online purchase)
Lengths: 8m boxes.
