Industrial Gaskets EPDM Sponge is a black, premium grade, closed cell sponge rubber sheet.
It has good mechanical strength and has moderate temperature and petroleum based fuel and oil resistance, including petrol, diesel and LPG.
EPDM Sponge is UV stable and is resistant to ozone effects and weathering and is suitable for long term sealing applications with limited cycles of compression.
EPDM sponge sheet also displays outstanding water resistance making it suitable for prolonged exposure to aquatic environments as it will not deteriorate when submerged in fresh water or sea water. It will not deteriorate when submerged in fresh or seawater making it suitable for marine applications.
