Industrial Gaskets Soft EPDM 45 Rubber is a black, superior grade 45 Duro EPDM Rubber sheet, which has high temperature resistance and chemical resistance to acids and alkalis. It is UV stable making it resistant to ozone effects and extreme weather conditions.
Soft EPDM 45 Rubber is made from a premium EPDM rubber compound softer than the standard EPDM 65 rubber sheeting. This high-quality compound makes it highly flexible and compressible.
It also displays excellent high temperature resistance and chemical resistance to both acids and alkalis. This soft rubber sheet has excellent mechanical strength and ozone/UV resistance making it weather resistant and suitable for extended outdoor use.
EPDM rubber sheeting exhibits outstanding water resistance. It is suitable for prolonged exposure to aquatic environments and will not deteriorate when submerged in fresh water or sea water. It is compatible with hot water and steam.
