Fibreglass Sleeve is designed for protecting cables, wires, hoses and small pipes. Manufactured from an internal layer of knitted, high strength fibreglass that is coated with a thick, it is also available with a durable silicone rubber finish. The fibreglass material sleeve can handle high heat and tough conditions.
Fibreglass braided heat sleeve is an economical form of hose and cable protection, where exposure to molten splash, oils or moisture is not a factor; it is constructed of high quality a texturised glass fibre. Widely used in the automotive, heavy transport, mining, plant maintenance, electrical and power generation industries.
Fiberglass sleeving has a temperature rating of 540°C continuously where the fibreglass will not burn.
Silicone coated sleeve withstands repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminium and molten glass up to 1650 degrees C
Availability
Available in a selection of bore sizes. Standard sizing ranges from 6mm through to 102mm. Standard roll lengths are between 10 and 30 metres.
Custom sizes and lengths available also.
