Fibreglass Rope is flexible for installation around tight corners and friction fit “U” channels.
Fibreglass Rope smaller sizes are fully braided as the larger sizes can if required be braided over a core to make manufacturing more economical.
Fiberglass rope is constructed of high-quality e-glass fiberglass yarns knitted into both soft and dense rope forms. Suitable for use in continuous temperatures of up to 540°C, fiberglass rope is often used as gasket seals for boilers, ovens, and stoves.
The high heat resistance of our rope also makes them useful in high-temperature industrial packing
Density of FGR is denoted by adding an S or H after the style (soft or hard core). FGR can be manufactured in either square or round profiles to suit applications.
The yarn will not support combustion or burn. It is unaffected by most dilute alkalis and acids.
Usual applications include boiler close up, lagging on pipe work, duct flange seals and expansion joints, crucible seals, hot air hoods.It is unaffected by weather or moisture.
