Fibreglass Ladder Tape (Drop Warp) withstands temperatures up to 538 degrees C.
These tapes are produced from closely (tight) woven yarns, enabling tapes to be produced which retain high degree of softness and flexibility.
Fiberglass tapes are resistant to oils, solvents and most chemicals, but direct contact with live steam should be avoided.
Fibreglass Ladder tape is made by removing yarns through the centre of the woven tape, creating a ladder effect. These tapes are useful in the sealing of furnaces, ovens and where bolt-holes are required in fabrication.
Applications include wrapping steam tracer lines, hose, thermal and electrical insulation wrap , piping, tadpole tapes, gasketing, boiler close up and duct flanges.
Available in widths 20mm to 500mm, thickness 5.0mm, 3.0mm and 1.5mm Coil lengths 30m.
