Plastic Shim

Plastic shim is available in a wide range of thicknesses (thicknesses are colour coded for easy identification).

Plastic Shims have a much higher strength-to-weight ratio compared with metallic alternatives and prevent corrosion.

Can be used for

• Acting as spacers, gaskets, or wear strips in gear cases, crank cases, and oil pans. 
• Providing electrical insulation barriers. 
• Used as slide strips. 

his material is tough with very high compression and dielectric strength. It has good resistance to most Chemicals and has good Ozone capabilities. Temperature Range is -70°C to +130°C

Available in Thicknesses of shim sheet from 0.0010 inch to 0.0600 inch

Our Shim Assortment Packs available contain 1 600mm x 300mm sheet in the thickness  0.0010″ / 0.0020″ / 0.0030″ / 0.0050″ / 0.0075″ / 0.0250″ / 0.300″ / 0.400″
