Donit Micalit F is mica based material. It has excellent thermal and chemical resistance making it suited to the high temperature conditions of the automotive and steel industry, exhaust systems, burners and ovens.
Mica is an Aluminosilicate material with very high thermal resistance, used for exhaust pipe manifolds, burner flanges, gas turbine housings and turbocharger flange gaskets.
Donit Micalit F Â has strong dielectric characteristics and low thermal conductivity properties.
The mica gasket sheets of type Micalit F can handle up to up to +950°С of temperature – they are made up of a high percentage of phlogopite mica flakes that have been impregnated with silicone.
These mica gasket sheets offer outstanding thermal and chemical qualities, making them ideal for high-temperature applications such as exhaust systems, gas turbines, oil and gas burners, furnaces, and ovens in the automobile and steel industries.
This gasket sheet is suitable for temperatures up to +950°С and pressures up to 5 bar
