Donit Grafilit SP

Industrial Gaskets is the Australian Authorised Distributor of the Donit Grafilit SP gasket material.

Donit Grafilit® SP is an expanded graphite based material with tanged 316 stainless steel insert, which enhances the surface load and blowout safety.

This material has excellent chemical, thermal and mechanical resistance and is used in wide range of industries, for instance gas, steam supply, chemical and petrochemical industry.

The Donit Grafilit SP is a gasket material which combines the excellent properties of pure expanded graphite and the strength of 316 stainless steel tanged insert, excels with high surface loads or high operating pressure.

Composition – Expanded natural graphite (>99% graphite purity), tanged stainless steel sheet insert (AISI 316; 0.1 mm)
